Unique in the San Francisco Bay Area, On the Waterfront B&B is a bayside retreat on the western shore of spectacular Tomales Bay, a loch-like bay which creates the Point Reyes peninsula, home of the Point Reyes National Seashore and Tomales Bay State Park.
The views are breathtaking! On the Waterfront faces southeast, and from the room you can see both sunrise and the soft reflected light of sunset. When the tide is out, shorebirds, including egrets and great blue herons, can be seen just off the deck.
On the Waterfront offers privacy and tranquillity in an unparalleled setting overlooking the pristine waters of Tomales Bay and the beautiful rolling hills of west Marin County. We’re located on the famous tidelands of Inverness – our home is on a raised foundation, which means we are over the water when the tide is in, and over the intertidal zone when the tide is out. Ours is a true guest room. Although it has a private entrance and bath and is completely separate from the rest of the house, it is one corner of a charming Inverness residence.
